Dev Log 1: Introductions
Hey, everybody. I wanted to showcase a game I'm putting together on Unreal Engine 5. I was inspired by watching Markiplier's old Santa Claus videos, particularly his Santa's Rampage one, and thought, "You know, this crazy, evil Santa would be perfect for a horror game!"
Thus, began work on Santaplier's Revenge. Being built on the Horror Engine template by tansuergene, the game is set in Santa's Workshop where you, as one of the kiddies Santaplier has captured to make his toys, need to escape before he catches you!
I know there's plenty of debate about "asset flipping" and whatnot, but rest assured, I've put a lot of hard work into this, building up the map, modifying assets to give it a unique feel, and even additions not present in the kit itself, like AI for instance; something that isn't present in the original template.
Anyways, I hope anybody who sees this is interested in what I'm cooking, and I hope y'all have a great day.
Talk to 'ya later,
Glass.
